Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using MHB on iOS, iPadOS, and Android. The app may appear under different store listing names depending on the platform, but these terms apply to MHB wherever you download or use it. Last updated July 20, 2026.

Use respectfully

MHB is provided for personal worship, devotion, study, and reference use.

Free or premium

The free app may show ads. Optional premium access may remove ads or unlock available paid features.

Store-managed billing

Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed through Apple or Google, depending on your device.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using MHB, you agree to these Terms of Use and to any applicable App Store or Google Play terms for your device. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. App purpose and license

MHB helps you read, search, and save Methodist hymn and canticle content for worship, devotion, study, and reference. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these terms and applicable store rules.

3. Content and rights

The app, design, features, and related materials belong to Kakyire Technologies or our licensors. Hymn and worship content may be subject to separate rights. You may use the app for personal and worship-related purposes, but you may not copy, sell, scrape, redistribute, or misuse app content or features unless you have the right to do so.

4. Ads and premium access

The free app may display ads. If you purchase premium access or a subscription, the app will provide the paid experience described at the time of purchase, subject to availability and the terms of the store that processed the transaction.

5. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Subscription products, prices, free trials, renewal periods, and purchase options appear inside the App Store or Google Play purchase flow before confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple or Google account settings before the renewal date. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

6. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the store that processed the purchase. For iOS and iPadOS purchases, use Apple's App Store refund process. For Android purchases, use Google Play's refund process. Kakyire Technologies does not receive your full card details from Apple or Google.

7. Store terms

Your use of the app is also subject to the rules of the app store you used to download it. For Apple platforms, the app is licensed under Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement, available at Apple Standard EULA, unless Apple provides otherwise.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, bypass payments or ads, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, use the app for unlawful activity, or violate rights connected with hymn, worship, or app content.

9. Availability and updates

We aim to keep MHB useful and reliable, but the app may change over time. Features, content, ads, premium offerings, and store availability may vary by platform, region, version, or device. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app when needed.

10. No warranties

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep content and features accurate, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kakyire Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Privacy

Use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information connected with app use, ads, purchases, app updates, and user choices.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, store requirements, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
