Information We Collect

You can read hymns without email registration. Connected features create a guest account identified by a unique ID.

We collect questions, feedback, answer reports and support correspondence you provide; app activity such as hymn views, searches, favourite changes and purchase interactions; and account, purchase, usage and diagnostic information.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate and improve MHB, manage premium access and question allowances, restore purchases, respond to enquiries, review reports and prevent abuse.

Wesley AI

Wesley sends your question and up to three recent questions from the conversation to Google Vertex AI to find reference material and generate answers. Generated answers and reports are linked to your guest account.

Versions with AI permission controls ask for your approval first. You can decline or withdraw permission in Settings and continue using hymns. Withdrawal stops future AI requests from the app without reversing earlier processing.

Third-Party Services

Service providers support app operations. MHB uses RevenueCat for purchases, Mixpanel for analytics and Google AdMob for advertising. Advertising software may process device identifiers, network information, approximate location and ad interactions to display and measure ads, as described in Google's disclosure.

Retention and Deletion

Account records remain while your account is active. Generated answers normally expire after seven days. Reports and deletion requests remain until completed and for 90 days afterwards. Other service records are removed periodically; some audit and provider records follow separate retention schedules.

Request account deletion in Settings > Privacy and account, where available, or contact us. Deletion removes your guest account and associated active service data. Provider erasure takes additional processing, and purchase restoration remains paused until confirmed. Hymn favourites and preferences remain.

Account deletion does not cancel subscriptions. Manage subscriptions through your app store and advertising choices through available privacy controls.
